This course deals with advanced networking technologies, protocols, and standards - their applications and implementations to the real world. It also covers virtualization and containerization (Docker and Kubernetes) and their application in cloud computing. Activities in this course will be done using open-source virtualization software like Oracle VM VirtualBox and ProxMox.
A prior understanding and knowledge of operating systems (Linux and Windows), fundamentals of networking and programming are needed in this course.
